Sony NEX-VG10 announced

It looks like Sony WILL have a large sensor, interchangeable lens camera out this Fall. The Sony NEX-VG10 looks like a dream come true: APS HD CMOS sensor (roughly 4/3 or APS-C sized), Minolta/Sony glass and a $2,000 price tag. Add in all of the convenience features you'd expect from a Sony camcorder and this is a sure-fire winner. The only spec that gave me a little pause was the 24 Mbps data rate, which seems kind of low, with more professional cameras shooting 35 Mbps or even 40-45 Mbps. Still, this technically isn't a "professional" camera, so we'll see. Start saving up your pennies for lenses, boys and girls!
