Syndicaster 2.0 is an online editing service for broadcasters to synchronize and syndicate traditional television content with the Internet. It's not an editor in the sense of Adobe Premiere or Final Cut Pro,  but is instead an industry tool that bridges broadcast programming and the Net. In fact, the service is more of a content managment system - hardware and software - than anything else that handles encoding, file managment, uploading and so on. This is not to say content managment systems aren't really great and interesting, in and of themselves, but it's not as exciting for us little guys.

The interesting part is that this is news at all: old school television feels older every day!
