iPod Video Rumors PDF Print E-mail

Rumors are that next-gen iPods will have a video camera. I don't know that this is all that shocking, considering high-end iPods are very nearly iPhones without the phone part and the latest iPhones have video. The rumors come from two sources, including leaks on camera module orders in Taiwan and new iPod  Touch 2 cases that have shown up at Deal Extreme with camera holes punched into them.

In other iPhone/iPod video news, Zacuto has the first serious solution for iPhone users who want to shoot steady video. Constructed more or less on a challenge, the Zgrip iPhone comes in two versions, the cheaper and not so cheaper variety, their website states that the standard version will be significantly cheaper than the Pro version which is pictured here. In true Zacuto fashion the Zgrip comes with knobs and levers so you can adjust your heart out, that is, if you want or you can set it and forget it. The most noticeable feature is its gimble like flexibility, see video at Zacuto's website.
