Dan "Never At A Loss For Words" Rutter has an excellent, hands-on, bullsh*t-free assemsment of DSLR cameras and lenses, starting with the truism that "...the major investment for any DSLR owner isn’t the camera body, it’s the lenses." It is well worth a read and entertaining to boot, plus, it is as timely as ever, what with (I have on good authority) the release of the Canon T2i on March 18th in the USofA. Time to get your lenses on, boys and girls, 'cause cinematic video for the masses is - for the first time ever - only a week away. He also provocatively states that "Resolution doesn’t matter." Like I said: Good read. Entertaining. B.S. free. Worth your time.
(The picture here seems unremarkable, until you understand that Mr. Rutter took it in the deepest, deadest of the night as a time exposure. Ever wanted proof that the moon is reflecting sunlight? Here it is.)
