Crazy news: You can edit your videos on YouTube! The downside is you'll need to upload your source video, which really shouldn't be highly compressed distribution material, but the upside is huge: convenience. Since video editing is already pretty convenient, I'm not counting on this innovation improving the overall quality of the vast majority of GooTube videos. Access to editing tools has never really been the biggest problem. Still, it might make some workflows much easier, such as uploading from your mobile phone and then using YouTube's tools to do a little snip, snip. In any case, it's always great to have more tools and choices. Here's an overview of how it works:
