Hoping to make your fortune striking it big on GooTube with a random viral video? You might want to first consider that the most popular video site is getting a million or so videos uploaded every day and that, over the years, only a few have made it big (i.e., a hundred million views or more). And, even with a couple of hundred million views for the biggest of the big, the payout has been relatively modest. For example, "David After Dentist" has made roughly $150,000, which is a tidy sum, but not a reality-bending number. The most popular ever? "Charlie bit my finger. Again" with about 210,000,000 views. Considering only 100 million people watch the Super Bowl every year, doesn't it seem like Charlie should be getting a little more than that?
